There’s nothing wrong with enjoying some of the finer things in life. At the beginning of February, Danish artist Skylar Fri released “Gold Rush,” a love song about both a person and those finer things. It’s a lovely pop song that flows along just like liquid gold. The song now has a music video to go along with it.
The video for “Gold Rush” largely takes place as a series of projections over Skylar Fri as she stands in front of a blank wall. Fri stands with the object of her affections and scenes of them enjoying the city and the countryside play behind them. The “Gold Rush” title also becomes literal at one point with half of Fri’s face covered in gold glitter.
