Reggie and the Full Effect have released another new song called “Maggie.” It is the latest track to be released from their upcoming album, 41. The album will be released on February 23rd via Pure Noise Records and can be pre-ordered here.
Regarding the new song, Reggie and the Full Effect mastermind James Dewees says “‘Maggie’ is something I wrote musically as a throwback to earlier Reggie songs like ‘Thanks for Stayin.’ Where it’s a moving verse that comes in and out rhythmically but all leads up to the chorus. And I feel like everyone in the world can relate to the words. It’s for the person/people/animals you care about. And letting them know that you love them soooo much that when they are hurting, you are hurting right there with them. Even if you can’t tell them because you don’t want to upset them anymore than they already are.”
In addition to releasing 41, later this month Reggie and the Full Effect will be hitting the road in the spring of 2018 to support label-mates Senses Fail, as well as Have Mercy and Household. Tickets are on sale now, and you will find those dates below.
