It’s hard not to fall in love with a band like Cherry Pools. They’ve got a synth-filled indie-pop sound that’s vibrant and futuristic while feeling classic and ever-so-slightly retro. Their are plenty of artists making music like this right now, but they know what they do and they do it well. After signing to Weekday Records / Sony Music Entertainment, Cherry Pools released “Forever Young” – their first single since changing their name from Curses – in December. They’ve now followed it up with “Are You In Love?”, a glittery and entirely dance-able song that’s paired with an equally colorful video. Watch the video for “Are You In Love?” at the top of this post, and prepare to have the chorus stuck in your head.
In just a few days, Cherry Pools will begin a run of tour dates with PVRIS. The Toronto-based group will hit the road starting on February 15 in Atlanta, wrapping things up with PVRIS on February 28 in Lawrence, Kansas. See the full list of shows below.
