Though festival season itself is still a few months away, the beginning of January seems to be prime time for festival lineup announcements. Not long after the announcement of the 2018 Coachella lineup, Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City has revealed its lineup for 2018.
Taking place from June 1 to 3 at Randalls Island Park in Manhattan, the festival will feature Eminem (who’s also headlining at Coachella), Jack White, Travis Scott, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs as headliners. But beyond that, there are plenty of must-see sets. N.E.R.D. will be taking the stage for their first New York show since 2010, and The Gaslight Anthem will be reuniting after a hiatus of nearly three years to play The ’59 Sound in full (per a recent Tweet, the band intend on playing more shows celebrating the tenth anniversary of the album, though no details have been announced yet).
We’d also recommend checking out Substream #56 cover star Maggie Rogers, five-time Grammy nominee Khalid, Silk City (Diplo + Mark Ronson), Lil Uzi Vert, Wolf Alice, The Struts, and Aminé, but with this lineup, you can’t go wrong. The lineup can be seen at the bottom of this post, though one act remains a mystery.
General admission and VIP tickets for Governors Ball Music Festival are available now. What are your thoughts on the lineup so far? Do you have any guesses on who the secret act might be? Let us know in the comments below or share your thoughts with Substream on Twitter.
