Do you remember what it’s like to be young? Maybe you think of your youth as a period defined by being under a certain age, or maybe you think of it as the time before your days were filled with worries about things like credit card bills and student loans. However you define it, we can surely all agree that our youth was a time when we felt carefree. Maybe we don’t feel that way anymore, but there’s something special about a song that can bring us back to that time. On their new track “Feels Great”, Cheat Codes- the EDM trio consisting of Trevor Dahl, Matthew Russell and Kevi Ford- and Fetty Wap celebrate just how good it feels to be young, and if you’re in the mood for a pick-me-up party song, this just might do the trick.

“Feels Great” follows Cheat Codes’ wildly successful Demi Lovato collaboration, “No Promises.” In between performances at major festivals like Lollapalooza, Free Press Summer Fest, and Billboard Hot 100 Festival, they performed the song with Lovato on Good Morning America and Fallon, and it now has more than 400 million total streams globally.

Regarding the new track, Cheat Codes says, “Feels Great is our version of a John Hughes movie in song form. Everybody loves to look back at the glory days, but being young is just a state of mind.  Fetty joining us on this song is the icing on the cake. We’re label partners with him and we played a show with him in Texas a few months back. This dude always has a smile on his face, so when we originally had the demo of the song we immediately thought he’d be perfect on it.”  Fetty Wap adds, “It was dope to collaborate with Cheat Codes. We’re on the same label so this was fun. Can’t wait to hear more out of these guys and share some success together.”
