When asked about the song, Katy Rose says “‘Bleed’ is about acting without the greatest dignity or grace. It’s about those relationships that should never have happened in the first place. It’s about selfishly letting sexual or social encounters drag on longer than they deserve to for no reason other than to ensure you’re not alone, at the end of the night, with a mind consuming itself. Ultimately, I guess, it’s an honest tale of not being the best version of yourself.”
