When Kesha returned earlier this summer, it was with the moving single “Praying.” Before the release of her third studio album Rainbow on August 11, she also shared “Woman”, “Learn To Let Go”, and “Hymn”. With Rainbow, Kesha has hit us hard with plenty of emotions, and in case you haven’t had enough of that and are ready to cry a little more, we suggest watching the video for “Good Old Days”, her new collaboration with Macklemore.

With a grainy, film look and plenty of retro styles, nostalgia abounds and the name “Good Old Days” seems immediately appropriate. Macklemore and Kesha escape in an old camper van for an adventure down the road. There are campfire singalongs, toasted marshmallows, and more than a bit of romance. Macklemore shares stories of his early days as a musician and Kesha reminds us that “You don’t know what you’ve got/ Till it goes, till it’s gone” in a tune that will make you sentimental for times you never even had.

Macklemore’s new album Gemini is out now, and it’s his first solo album since 2005 (he partnered with Ryan Lewis for 2012’s The Heist and 2016’s This Unruly Mess I’ve Made). He won’t be alone on the album, however: in addition to Kesha, he’ll be joined by everyone from Lil Yachty to Eric Nally for guest appearances. Macklemore will be on tour this fall in support of Gemini; you can see all of the dates and purchase tickets on his website here, though be warned that several shows have already sold out.

We told you all about Kesha’s upcoming Rainbow Tour (which will kick off this coming Tuesday, September 26 in Birmingham, Alabama) earlier this summer; head on over to her website to see if she’s coming to your city and purchase tickets.
