It seems like it was just yesterday when “Hey There Delilah” took over the airwaves and launched Plain White T’s into the mainstream music world. However, it’s been a while since we heard from the band–their last release was 2015’s American Nights.

This week, the band announced that they have returned to their roots and re-signed with Fearless Records and released a new song called “Land of the Living,” which premiered over at Billboard.

In a press release, vocalist and guitarist Tom Higgenson had this to say about returning to Fearless:

“Fearless was the first label to ever support us and believe in the band, so it just seems so natural to reunite with them after all these years. ‘Land Of The Living’ is a song that can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. For us, it’s about following your passion no matter what, and enjoying the ups and downs along the way.”

The band plans to head into the studio this summer to record their next record, which is expected to release in early 2018.
