Just when you thought it was safe to forget about “XO Tour Llif3″…
The arrival of September signaled the start of the fall season. Summer may technically last a few weeks longer, but the presence of Pumpkin Spice everything everywhere should be all the proof you need to know fall is upon us. Soon the leaves will change, the temperature will drop, and October will arrive.
Few things pair with fall like horror movies, thanks in no small part to the presence of Halloween. We are a few weeks away from beginning our annual Halloween celebrations, but in the meantime rapper Lil Uzi Vert has got us in the mood for scary things with the release of his long-awaited video for “XO Tour Llif3“. The clip plays like a horror film, with Uzi performing in between spooky sequences that reference a variety of horror tropes. You can view the visuals at the top of this post.
The arrival of a video for “XO Tour Llif3” this long after its release is a bit disappointing, but it’s not all that unusual. Longtime fans know Uzi has been pushing this single for months, but his recent high profile appearance alongside Ed Sheeran at the MTV Music Awards gave him a burst of new exposure based largely on the strength of “XO Tour Llif3”. The song may have left your playlist, but it seems safe to say it won’t be exiting the greater pop culture conversation for quite some time.
If you’re itching for more content from Lil Uzi Vert, you’re in luck. The rapper also recently released his Luv Is Rage 2 mixtape. You can stream the record below:
