Is there anything better than new music from an artist you love after a long wait? You may miss them in the interim, but that elation when they come back is one of the best feelings. And that’s exactly how we’re feeling today with the news that Minneapolis-based band Now, Now is back with brand new track “SGL,” which premiered as part of NPR’s Songs We Love series.
As reported in that NPR story, Now, Now is back sans a member. Jess Abbot, who fronts the band Tancred, has left the group, leaving KC Dalager and Bradley Hale to press on as a duo. For fans who are worried what impact this might have, you’ll be relieved once you hear “SGL,” which captures the same magic Now, Now has always had. It’s a dreamy, romantic track that’ll have you swooning in no time.
You can stream the track through Soundcloud below. We’re excited for what both Tancred and Now, Now have in the pipeline for us, and we’ll be sure to keep you up to date on new releases from both.
