It’s almost hard to believe that All Time Low’s upcoming album, Last Young Renegade, will be their seventh. It seems like just yesterday that we were introduced to them. The band has given us pop-punk anthem after anthem, and it seems like their new work won’t disappoint. Case in point, the band today released a new song called “Nice2KnoU,” and we are fans!
The song is all high-energy and celebratory nostalgia that’s sure to be an instant hit in the band’s expansive catalogue. It’s a reminder to keep your fond memories of the past while still looking forward, and it’s sure to get a ton of airplay. The video fits with the song, as it finds the band visiting venues that proved formative during their early years, all of which are now sadly closed.
Alex Gaskarth gave some insight into the song in a press release, saying: “This is a dedication to all the places we’ve been that made us who we are today, the sea of sweaty hands that raised us up in low-lit clubs across America on our first tours, and all the people we owe these stories to; Nice to know you, see you ’round.”
Last Young Renegade is out on June 2 through Fueled By Ramen. The album is available to pre-order on the band’s website, which also contains tour dates and instructions on how to pre-save the album on Spotify if that’s the route you’d like to go. With how passionate their fanbase is and the high quality of what we’ve heard from the new album so far, All Time Low might be around for another seven albums.
