HBO has spent years turning itself into the destination for critical acclaim on television. It’s paid off as their programming now dominates the pop culture landscape and has millions of people tweeting their reactions and theories to whatever is on at the moment. The network released a preview of what’s to come for the rest of the year, and viewers are in for a treat.
The entire preview is set to Lorde’s new hit “Green Light” from her upcoming album, Melodrama. The returns start soon with Silicon Valley, The Leftovers, and Veep all returning in April. Of course, there’s the HBO juggernaut Game of Thrones coming back on July 16, plus the return of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Vice Principals, and new breakout hit Insecure in the latter half of the year. Scattered throughout are shots for new comedy specials, series, sports, documentaries, and a couple of new movies.
Watch the announcement for yourself down below. No matter what your interest, there’s probably something you’ll be excited about. And don’t forget, Lorde’s new album Melodrama is out on June 16.
