There are far worse ways to live life than in a state of constant progress. You should always be working towards something, and even when you’re not you need to understand that change is still happening around you. The person you are today is not who you were before you fell asleep last night, and the person you wake as tomorrow be new as well. Life is never done helping you refine who you are, whether you wish for it or not, and now The Classic Crime has created the perfect soundtrack to change with their latest single.

Today we are thrilled to share the world premiere of “Not Done With You Yet,” a song that speaks to journey of existence with wit and wisdom to share. It’s a driving number that evokes a sense of longing for understanding that anyone who has felt lost before will immediately recognize. A person can drive themselves insane trying to figure things out, but as the song reminds us the journey we’re on is far from over. Take a listen below and enjoy the incredible art that accompanies The Classic Crime’s latest material:

The art in the video above serves as the cover for The Classic Crime’s new album, How To Be Human. The image is a painting called “You Can Pick It Up On Radar” by Renee Robbins. You can pre-order the album, set for release on April 28, through The Classic Crime’s official website.

When asked about the story behind “Not Done With You Yet,” member Matt McDonald told us:

“This song reflects a commitment to the journey of life, through ups and downs, through the deconstruction and reconstruction of our perspectives – the mantra “I’m not done with you yet” stems from the idea that we’re all in process, all unfinished and pressing forward to new and better understandings of reality, even when faced with the loss of previous ones.”
