Salt Lake City singer-songwriter Andrew Goldring (former frontman of both Golden Sun and Great Interstate) is making a name for himself alongside current greats like David Bazan and Andy Shauf. Goldring’s brand new single, “Cosmic Dance,” is an easy listen with half-whispered vocals gliding over a bed of soothing and simple instrumentals. The chorus gets a bit ethereal, complementing its title, lifting you into a state of flotation, suspended in the soundscape Goldring has created, before being slowly lowered back into your seat as the song comes to a close at four and a half minutes.
On Facebook, Goldring says, “This is the beginning of a new era of songs for me and I’m honored to share them with you.” We’re looking forward to this new era to say the least.
