Ohio songwriter Jonathan Burgess will release a brand new album this Friday, January 20, titled White Light Devil. Substream has teamed up with Burgess to share the entire eight-track effort ahead of its official release, so give it a listen below and let us know what you think.
“I’ve really enjoyed working on this record,” says Burgess. “I wanted to play with different moods and genres to bring some experimentation into the studio. It feels good to get some of this content floating around in my head out into the world and to do it in such a relaxed environment with friends. Personally, if someone, somewhere enjoys it and it betters their life, then the record is a success.”
Digital and physical (CD, vinyl) copies of White Light Devil are available to purchase through Six 3 Collective now. To coincide with the album’s release this Friday, Burgess will celebrate by performing at Big Room Bar in Columbus, Ohio with Room & Board and Glenn Davis.
