Though he released his debut album Out Of Light just over three months ago, our favorite “feelsy” DJ Slushii has not slowed down. In the time since, he’s shared a remix of Marshmello and Khalid’s “Silence”, hit the road hard for festival performances and his headlining Out Of Light Tour (including his first headlining hometown show in Philadelphia), and now, he’s back with another new track. This one is an original with no features, and it’s called “Level Up.”

If you’re a fan of Slushii, this song may seem a little different. It goes a little harder and gets a little grimier than album tracks like “Melting Over You” or “I Still Recall”, and while there are some vocals in the song (with the pitch-shifting Slushii is known for), it’s not driven by lyrics. Rather it’s a booming synth and repetitive drum machine that steer the track, which features a drop that’s nothing if not twisted. Listen to “Level Up” below.

Slushii is currently finishing up the North American leg of the Out Of Light Tour, and will be heading down under to tour Australia and New Zealand later this month. Head to his Facebook page for a full list of upcoming shows.
