Back in May we brought you the premiere of Chase Atlantic’s live video for “Church”, and now the Australian trio are back with the video for “Keep It Up.” This time, the band partnered with director Drew Kirsch (who’s also worked with everyone from AFI to Quinn XCII) for a clip that feels like a slice of everyday life. Only it’s not just the band members on show here: the video also features footage of their friends and even some total strangers.

There are some musical moments, where the members of Chase Atlantic bust out a saxophone or a guitar, but “Keep It Up” is more portrait than performance. It gets a little steamy, but overall it’s about embracing youth and all it entails, from tattoos, to skateboarding, to a rendez-vous at a bowling alley. As August comes to a close, this feels like the perfect way to send off the summer.

Chase Atlantic have yet to release a full-length album, though the group has several EPs under their belt. “Keep It Up” was included on the Part Three EP (their third EP this year) released in July via Warner Bros. Records. If you’ve been wanting to catch Chase Atlantic live, you’re in luck: after a few performances in New York and Los Angeles earlier this year, the band will be hitting the road for their first official North American Tour with Sleeping With Sirens this fall. Head on over to Chase Atlantic’s website to see if they’ll be coming to a city near you!
