The new cinematic Spider-Man has yet to hit a hiccup. Tom Holland’s debut as Peter Parker was a highlight of Captain America: Civil War, and the first trailer gave us the perfect blend of the awkwardness of high school combined with the humor and superhero thrills of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s a new trailer for the film, and July cannot get here fast enough.

Premiering online early Tuesday morning, the second official trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming finds young Peter Parker getting into trouble with Avengers’ leader Tony Stark. It seems Stark wishes for Peter to have a more or less normal teenage life, but the arrival of a new villain in the streets of New York City forces the young man into action. Does he have what it takes to face a an evil genius without the help of his superhero friends? Watch the footage below and find out:

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be the second Marvel film of the year when it arrives on July 7, following Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in May. It looks like we’ll have all the laughs and action we could ever hope for from Marvel, and that’s even before Thor: Ragnarok arrives in November. It’s a good time to be a superhero fan.
