Brooklyn-via-Boston pronoun has shared the third and final single off her highly-anticipated forthcoming debut album, “i’ll show you stronger’ (May 24). The emotionally captivating track, written about three years ago during SXSW (around the time her debut album was released), deals with leaving behind someone and realizing they’re not at all right for you— and watching their life move on without you.

“I wrote this song skateboarding around SXSW 2016.” Alyse Vellturo says in a recent press release. “I had just started the project and was meeting so many new people and musicians and everything was starting to fall into place. I was so thankful and excited to start a new life and career on my own and leave everything I knew behind.”

With the album on the horizon, Vellturo has also announced a string of east coast US dates with Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties and Diva Sweetly, kicking off at the end of March at Montage Music Hall in Rochester, NY. A full list of dates can be found below, and tickets are here.

“I hope i’ll show you stronger can give listeners some relief—and maybe the songs get stuck in their heads,” Vellturo says about the upcoming album. “It’s relevant to so many things. Mostly, it’s about fixing a situation and emerging as a stronger person.” You can pre-save ‘i’ll show you stronger’ here.
