MELOR is a New York-based music collective consisting of four producers and one visual designer: RIMINISSI, Metic, Brian Made, Kaia Yook, and Yuri Kim. Since partnering with Downtown Music in 2025, they have built a global following through tracks like “Aperitif” and “Longest Days.”
With a sound rooted in Lofi and Chillhop, the team has collaborated with artists worldwide such as Horim, Eehou, and Saint Rumi. Having surpassed 2.4 million streams with consistent Apple Music editorial support, they continue to establish themselves as a cohesive creative force.
MELOR recently unveiled their debut release “Apéritif”, marking the official launch of the New York-based production collective. The track blends a warm, bossa-nova-infused melody with a crisp chillhop drum beat, setting a clear tone for the group’s signature sound.
The arrangement opens with Metic’s nylon guitar leads, which transition into a rich layer of keys and synths crafted by Kaia Yook and Riminissi. Bringing the elements together into a seamless harmony is brian made’s precise drum programming.
Upon its release, “Apéritif” quickly caught the attention of global listeners, earning a spot on Apple Music’s editorial playlist, “BEATstrumental.” To date, the track has surpassed 1.2 million streams worldwide, establishing MELOR as a talented new team to watch in the scene.
