O.A.R. announce new album 'Three Tinted Windows'

Multi-platinum rock powerhouse O.A.R. have announced that their highly-anticipated new album, Three Tinted Windows, will be released on September 18th via Ineffable Records.

The new album captures the energy, perspective, and fearless creativity of a band like O.A.R. that refuses to stand still and be complacent. The announcement comes just as the band celebrate 30 years together, a milestone that’s marked by their massive North American “Three Decades Tour.”

“‘Three Tinted Windows’ is our band story,” shares frontman Marc Roberge. “It’s about coming from the neighborhood, all of us getting into our first car, and driving out of town for the first time. It’s a field party, a driveway hang, a backyard barbecue — life as we knew it. Making this album gave me the chance to look back on my life so far and relive the band’s adventure. The album took so long to make that it became its own chapter in our lives. We are beyond excited to finally get on the road with this album finished and play these songs for the fans we love.”

A rootsy, reggae-tinged collaboration with G. Love, “Legacy” gives a glimpse into the band’s landmark new era. Riding an infectious groove, the song delivers a clear-eyed message about chasing dreams, embracing the journey, and creating something bigger than yourself along the way.

“On a random Monday morning, I ran into G. Love in NYC,” Roberge recalls. “Instead of saying, ‘See you later,’ we decided to head into the studio with Richard On and see about writing a song. Together, we wrote ‘Legacy’ about all the hard work on the road over the years — and how, looking back, it’s been worth every minute.”
