Beyoncé has just announced her highly-anticipated world tour in support of her latest album, Renaissance, which was released back in July of 2022.
Renaissance was her first album since 2016’s Lemonade, and this new tour marks her first solo tour since the Formation tour in 2016 as well. Additionally, Beyoncé is nominated for nine 2023 Grammys, and if she wins four this Sunday she’ll break the record as most awarded artist in Grammys history.
Last week, she performed her first headlining concert in four years, when she performed at the opening of a luxury hotel in Dubai, although she did not perform any of her new material, which she surely will do for her newly announced tour.
Ticket sales for the US leg open on 6 February for fan club members. Details for the European dates have yet to be announced. Ticketmaster will be under a significant microscope regarding the handling of these tickets, as they are already currently in hot water with U.S. lawmakers over their handling of the Taylor Swift Eras tour.
