Pure Noise Records has just announced a benefit album for the late Tim Landers. If you’re reading this, you may know him from his work in Transit, Misser, or Off & On. More than anything, though, Landers was a great friend to many people — as seen by this benefit release alone — who passed away back in February of this year.
The benefit album, titled Keep Shining On, from Pure Noise Records will feature contributions from The Story So Far, Man Overboard, Casa Loma, Elder Brother, and Misser. There’s six tracks in total (two from Elder Brother), with all six being covers of Tim’s music, ranging from all his musical projects.
Pure Noise Records is teaming up with Hope for the Day for this six-song covers album, as 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the organization. In case you’re unfamiliar, Hope for the Day achieves proactive suicide prevention by providing outreach and mental health education through self-expression platforms. Head to their website for more information on this incredible organization.
All six covers are currently available digitally, and you can head to Pure Noise Records store here to browse special bundles for the release. These bundles include things varying from hoodies to vinyls, and Pure Noise has stated that everything offered is limited edition.
