Philly punks Beach Slang are here to present fans with a catchy new beat. It’s titled “Tommy In The 80s” and is about listening to Tommy Stinson in the ’80s.

The song, at its peak, sounds like something Tommy Stinson’s old band The Replacements would’ve made in the ’80s. And what’s better? The song even features Tommy Stinson, who is currently in his fifties. He actually plays bass on Beach Slang’s forthcoming album, The Deadbeat Bang Of Heartbreak City, which arrives January 10th via Bridge 9.

The band has already revealed the new album’s first single, “Bam Rang Rang.” They are currently on tour and they’ll continue tonight in Pittsburgh at the Smiling Moose. Tomorrow, they’ll join the Goo Goo Dolls in Kalamazoo, Michigan and head through Madison (WI), Louisville, Knoxville, Richmond, Columbus, Atlantic City (NJ), and Toronto. Their final show of tour is a solo date in Buffalo, New York. Find a list of dates below.
