Ahead of her sophomore album, Tei Shi has shared a brand new track!
Dropped earlier today, the singer shared a haunting, yet anthemic, new single, “Alone In The Universe.” In addition to the release, she’s also unveiled an “interactive cosmic world” that her listeners can immerse themselves into while listening to the latest taste of music, found on her website here.
All this is building up in anticipation for the singer’s sophomore album, La Linda, which is slated to drop next month on November 15. The album is set to detail the singer’s move from New York City to Los Angeles.
Of the album’s inspiration as a whole, Tei Shi shared:
“It felt like I was closing a chapter in my life that was tied up in a lot of negativity, and reconnecting with open space and my own creativity in a way that I hadn’t in a very long time,” The singer shared. “I wanted this whole project to reflect the feeling of stepping into another world that’s almost surreal or fantastical in its beauty.”
