In August, multi-talented artist Noël Wells dropped her debut album It’s So Nice! One of the standout tracks on the album is “Still Sleeping,” a soft, reflective acoustic track that ties much of the album together with a bow. Now, the track has received an equally cozy, warm music video to go with it.
Wells is fast asleep as the video begins, but quickly wakes up and makes her way through a warmly lit hallway into a breathtaking living room arranged for a performance. She is a fantastic performer, and the video wisely lingers on her ability to captivate a room. In this case the room is both filled with people and empty at the same time. The voices of the crowd joining in the song is also an interesting wrinkle to an already arresting track.
