Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, the duo behind the dreamy electro-pop duo of Magdalena Bay, are here to share another new single. This time, they’re exploring what could take place in the apocalypse with their upbeat, yet slightly hazy, track “Venice.”

The latest song follows a whole slew of singles and 2019’s mini mix vol. 1. And, it appears that the group (who has been making music together since they were in high school), aren’t showing signs of stopping anytime soon. In fact, per a statement, they’ll be sharing even more exciting news as the year progresses!

“To us, Magdalena Bay is all about crafting great songs and creating a visual world around them,” the two shared. “We want to make a world that pulls people in and makes them want to stay forever.”

Of the band’s latest track, the duo also shared:

“The song’s kind of our way of coping with the ever-increasing ways that the world may end. It definitely takes a hedonistic approach and says we might as well live in the moment with the people we love until the end comes.
