After releasing their sixth studio album, Attention Attention, into the world back in May of 2018, Shinedown hasn’t had much downtime as they’ve taken their album on the road and haven’t looked back since.
While it’s been a busy time for the group, that hasn’t stopped them from messing around with some of the tracks. Take, for example, the song they’ve released earlier today: a stripped-down piano version of their Attention Attention track, “Get Up.”
The song itself, which speaks messages of hope and empathy, has quickly reached a little over 38 million streams and spent a handful of weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs Chart in the time since its release back in 2018.
With such success on the track and the message behind it, it’s easy to see why they would want to take a moment to revisit the song in a new, stunning and mesmerizing, way.
