You are probably familiar with the work of Rockabye Baby — as they have worked with artists across all genres, such as Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Metallica, Taylor Swift, Nirvana, Tom Petty, and many more. With each instance, they take the original songs and turn them into more gentle, instrumental lullabies. Through this, they became a hit with parents — and most of us on the internet — and have gone on to sell over 1.8 million CD’s and 2 million digital track downloads, while achieving more than 500 million streams from close to 100 releases.

On April 13th, Rockabye Baby! will be revisiting one special release: 2011’s Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Weezer. It will be released exclusively on clear vinyl for Record Store Day, and for Weezer — a band who’s unique, ironic quirkiness has shot them back into the spotlight — this release makes all of the sense in the world.

This collection shows Rockabye Baby! doing what they do best, with their job of turning tracks like “Buddy Holly,” “My Name Is Jonas,” and “El Scorcho” into beautiful, gentle lullabies. Not only is there music, but we are now excited to be exclusively bringing you a new little music video to go for their lullaby version of “Say It Ain’t So.”

If you like the video and this unique rendition, don’t forget to head out for Record Store Day this Saturday, April 13th, to look for it on vinyl. It’s almost too perfect of a gift to pass up.

Below is the artwork and track-listing for the release, spanning the band’s extensive career.
