The members of self-described “regret-punk” Burnt Tapes have known each other since they were teenagers, and grew up together in Athens, Greece before moving to London and forming the band back in 2014.

Since their formation, Burnt Tapes have been hard at work, and garnering comparisons in sound to the likes of Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker, and The Lawrence Arms. In the past three years alone, they have performed nearly 200 shows across the UK and Europe, performing with acts like Red City Radio, Pkew Pkew Pkew, Nothington, and more, while making appearances at festivals like Manchester Punk Fest, Might as Well Fest, Rebellion Fest, among others.

Today, we are teaming up with Burnt Tapes to premiere their new album, Never Better. It is their first new release since 2017’s EP, Alterations. “It’s felt like a long time coming, but we’re super excited to finally be able to share our first full length with everyone. It’s a natural extension of what we started with our last EP, Alterations, it explores very similar themes of growing up, loss, mental health and figuring out how to be an ‘adult,'” explains vocalist/guitarist Phil Georgoulopoulos. “Daly George at the Ranch was incredible in putting up with us, teaching us and being open to help us try different things. Some days we hate this album, some days we love it. We hope you guys like it”

Upcoming show:

FEB 22 OT Grevenbrück- Lennestadt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany

FEB 24 The Hope & Ruin- Brighton, England, United Kingdom (w/ _
The Deadnotes ≠ Kid Dad ≠ Prey Drive // TH&R)
