Irish artist Talos — who’s real name is Eoin French — has announced that he will be releasing his new album, Far Out Dust, on February 8th via BMG.
To celebrate the announcement fo the new album, Talos has dropped a new song — a brilliant, visceral track called “The Light Upon Us.” The song follows the release of the album’s first single, “See Me,” which was released back in December.
Expanding on the track, Talos explain, “It’s called ‘The Light Upon Us’… but, the idea of the light… it’s not a positive light. It’s one that erases things. It’s blinding. Sometimes things have to be destroyed for something else to be created. An acceptance that things are supposed to die at some point. Everything has an end.”
Talos closed out 2018 with a spot as support act for Peter, Bjron, and John, but he will be returning to North America this spring to support Aurora. The tour will kick off on February 13th Vancouver, BC and wrap up on March 10th in Washington, D.C.
