After previously teasing fans with new music and releasing “Away We Go,” Bad Suns have announced that they will be releasing their new album, Mystic Truth, on March 22nd. It will be their first release with Epitaph Records, marking a new chapter in the bands career.

Mystic Truth was produced by Dave Sardy (Oasis, The Head And The Heart, The Black Angels) and recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound and Sardy’s home studio. The album will finds Bad Suns synthesizing their range of disparate influences — R.E.M., Blue Nile, Kate Bush, more — into a restless and defiant sound that walks the line of pop, indie-rock, and post-punk.

“This song came to life beneath the stars, on a wind farm in Palm Springs on a breezy summer night,” Bowman tells Billboard. “The synth sequence and rolling bass lines were being looped in the room — I felt this tap on the shoulder and just started singing the words ‘hold your fire,’ and immediately knew we had something special to work with.”

Additionally, Bad Suns have announced some more headlining tour dates on top of their previously announced dates. You can find all of their upcoming tour dates below, as well as the album artwork and track-listing for Mystic Truth.
