Marianas Trench have announced that they will be heading back out on a U.S. headlining tour in 2019, dubbed the Suspending Gravity tour.

The 22-date tour will be held at venues that will give the fans more of an up-close-and personal live experience, and feature the powerhouse Vancouver quartet’s signature high-energy performance, while showcasing material from their forthcoming studio album Phantoms, as well as tracks from previous Marianas Trench albums.

After months of hibernating in the studio, it’s time to get back on stage in front of our fans and share some new music with the world. We couldn’t be more excited. Time to dust off the shiny pants and stretch out the glutes, the Trench is back,” explains Marianas Trench lead guitarist Matt Webb.

No further details regarding their new album, Phantoms (their first since 2015’s Astoria), is known now — outside of the previously released “I Knew You When,” which you can find below. “This is about long term, messy, real life love. Love with consequence. Not about drunken lust, or doing shots in a bar, or ‘living life for just tonight,’ but the kind of real-life relationship that takes a decade to build, through ups and downs,” explains Marianas Trench vocalist Josh Ramsay. “If I’ve learned one thing in my life as a performer it’s this; if you’re going to sing a song every night for the rest of your career, you better mean it – and I do.”

The tour will find Marianas Trench kicking off on May 1st in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and wrapping up on June 5th in Anaheim, California. Pre-sale VIP tickets are on sale now until Thursday, December 6th at 10pm local time. General admission tickets will then go on sale on Friday, December 7th at 10am local time.
