Today, we’re proud to premiere “Stronger”, the new video from Australian artist Ziggy Alberts. If you like powerful, soulful voices like Dermot Kennedy and storytellers like Vance Joy, then this is for you. “Stronger” sees Ziggy explaining to the woman he loves that being with him won’t always be easy, but if they put in the effort, it will be more than worth it; in the video, we see this play out in real time.

Speaking to Substream about “Stronger”, Ziggy says, “Unlike a lot of songs where you are trying to consider people being able to relate to the story, Stronger was very much a first-person account of a conversation – explaining and convincing the need-to-knows of being with a touring musician.”

If you like what you see and hear, you’re not alone: coming all the way from the East Coast of Australia, Ziggy Alberts recently sold out all dates on his debut North American tour, before even establishing a presence in the US. A free-surfer and environmental enthusiast, it comes as no surprise that Ziggy strives for independence and originality in his career, and founded his own independent record label, Commonfolk Records, earlier this year.

Ziggy Alberts will be releasing his fifth album, Laps Around The Sun, on November 9. Keep up with Ziggy on Twitter for the latest updates.
