Addiction affects many of our lives. Whether we ourselves struggle or we’ve had a friend or family member deal with addiction, it is something that most people have to confront at one point or another. Progressive rock band, Dwellings, hopes to bring light to this with their new song, “See It Through.”
The music video follows the story of a man who suffers from an addiction to prescription pills, while also cutting back to the childhood version of the man. When asked about the song, the band stated, “The song raises addiction awareness. We got some awesome people to be a part of the video, and hope that addiction is not something we take lightly, rather we reach out to those who are struggling.”
In coming months, you will surely see more from Dwellings. The band signed to Tragic Hero Records earlier this month and are set to release their debut album Lavender Town on June 29th.
