UPDATE (5/16/18, 10:28pm Eastern):

Good Charlotte have shared yet another piece of album art with “Good Charlotte” covering the artist’s name and Actual Pain covering the album title – this time it’s Kenny G’s Breathless. There’s still no word on what they’re hinting at (could the skull images hint at a Halloween release date?), but we’ll keep you updated as this story develops.

In the age of social media, artists have found all sorts of creative tactics to announce tours and new music. Some artists go dark, deleting content on their pages entirely, while others will inform fans to check their pages at a specific date and time for an upcoming announcement. We’re not sure exactly what Good Charlotte is up to, but if their social media behavior tells us anything, it’s that they’ve got something exciting to share soon.

On May 6, the band shared a recent live photo on Instagram with the caption “see you soon…” – could this be hinting at an upcoming tour?

But their updates haven’t stopped there. On May 7, Good Charlotte began posting black and white portraits of the band from various times in their career, with skulls overlaid on each member’s face.

It doesn’t end there. This week, Good Charlotte shared cover art for Garth Brooks’ Ropin The Wind and Celine Dion’s Let’s Talk About Love – both featured the same same skull imagery from the band’s recent posts, with “Good Charlotte” covering each artist’s name and “Actual Pain” where the album title is.

Perhaps Good Charlotte is hinting at an EP or album called Actual Pain where they’ll be covering songs by Garth Brooks and Celine Dion, or perhaps there’s an Actual Pain Tour in the works. We’re not exactly sure what they’re up to, but it certainly seems like they’ve got something up their sleeves. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all things Good Charlotte as this develops, so follow Substream on Twitter so you don’t miss a headline.
