When Bhad Bhabie (that’s Danielle Bregoli, a.k.a. the “Cash Me Outside” girl) announced her signing to Atlantic Records earlier this week, the music industry was split. Had the label made a brilliant business decision in signing an artist with plenty of national attention and a strong brand, or had they done a disservice to “real” artists?
The jury is still out, but no matter: Bhad Bhabie is here to stay, at least for now. She’s not slowing down either, and today she’s brought us two brand new music videos. “Hi Bich” and “Whachu Know” can be seen in a single double-feature clip above. And yes, “bich” is her way of spelling “bitch.” We’re still not exactly sure why she initially chose to spell “hoes” as “heaux” in “These Heaux”, but it seems misspelling is a part of her personal brand.
“Hi Bich” is up first, and we see Bhad Bhabie sitting in a court room. A group of teens sits behind her, holding signs saying “We Luv Bhad Bhabie” and “Free Bhad Bhabie”. The signs don’t seem to work, as she ends up in an electric chair. But soon enough she’s back, wearing a white dress and veil and riding in a “carriage” (a white Porsche being pulled by a white horse). “Whachu Know” follows, and here she’s seen in a black hoodie and ripped jeans, staring into the camera as she raps alone in an empty lot. In case the videos aren’t enough, you can also stream “Hi Bich” here (“Whachu Know” is not yet available for streaming).
What exactly does the future hold for Bhad Bhabie? Danielle Bregoli is still on probation with a mandatory curfew, so it’s unclear whether touring or live performances are in her future, but she’s sure to have plenty more material to share with the world. We suggest you pay attention.
You might not be a fan of Bhad Bhabie, but fair warning: if you express your distaste in her music, she may roast you on Twitter or in a video like the one below.
