Hello, readers. The sun is out, summer is fast approaching, and Paramore is in our lives. Could you ask for a more perfect scenario? A couple of weeks after their return with “Hard Times,” the band has revealed a second music video and song entitled “Told You So.”
The song premiered on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe, and it’s a scorcher of a track with the funkiest bass line you’re likely to hear this week. The lyrics and title refer to those who absolutely love to chide and criticize. The people who say “I hate to say I told you so” in fact usually absolutely love saying it, as many of us know. The video primarily takes place with the band driving down the freeway in excellent matching red outfits and berets.
Paramore clearly knows we missed them as we don’t have to wait long for their album release. After Laughter is out next Friday, May 12, through Fueled By Ramen. Pre-orders are currently ongoing.
