You know summer is almost over when the Substream inbox overflows with tour announcements. Ever since Warped Tour wrapped at the top of August we have not made it more than an hour or two without someone asking us to promote their next string of dates. We could never cover everyone, but when The Used and/or Glassjaw come calling we always find time to give them some love.
Kicking off in San Francisco on October 27, The Used will be embarking on a month-long tour of the United States with support from Glassjaw. The two iconic alternative band will criss-cross the US together, touching down in theaters and similarly sized venues all over the nation. The complete list of dates reads:

Pre-sale tickets for the entire tour go on sale tomorrow, August 22, at 10 AM. Those interested in picking up tickets early can do so by entering the password “USEDPRE” on the band’s official website.
We have to wonder whether or not this tour is a sign that one of these bands (preferably both) have new music on the way this still this year as well. We are reaching out to both groups for further information, but don’t hold your breath waiting on an answer. News tends to break when artists want it broken.
