Hailing from Orange County, California, Xavier Young, better known as the recording artist Zavy, has built a cult-like following for his signature sing-a-long catchy sound with runaway hits like, “VVS” and “Flex Like Zavy”. Ready to take center stage in Hip Hop’s highly competitive race for “2019 Best New Artist”, Zavy release his latest effort in new song, “Rain”.
A more personal track than the feel-good vibe we’re used to from the rising star. Zavy channels his inner-turmoil as he reflects on his struggles as an aspiring artist and finally reaching the plateau he has dreamed about since the beginning, only to find out that it is exactly that, just the beginning.
Zavy explains the song’s concept with the following:
“A lot of people don’t understand my struggle but my struggle is MY STRUGGLE and the things someone else may face is their struggle. We are all faced adversity at times in our life but that’s what makes life beautiful.”
Another breakout track for the promising artist expected to unveil a buzzworthy debut project late-2019. Zavy is scheduled to open up for hot new artist Lil Mosey in Eugene, Oregon this June. “Rain” is available now via Plugintheox Management.
