Earlier this year, we shared the Liverpool-based indie Mariachi band Roja‘s music video for “The Evil Stands High,” and now they’re back with another new single and a cover of Lady Gaga’s monster hit “Bad Romance.”

Starting with their new original, “Company” is a mostly slow-tempo cut whose instrumentals sound straight out of Spaghetti Western, until you get to the driving guitar parts of course. It’s yet another taste of what this band has to offer—an impressive showing that will surely garner the band more and more fans.

Staying true to Mother Monster’s 2009 smash, Roja’s take on “Bad Romance” is easily recognizable but their signature flair is all over it, making for a truly rewarding listen. Horns accentuate the background guitar and dramatic vocal delivery perfectly. If you’re a fan of the source material, it’s highly unlikely that you won’t enjoy this rendition. Give both it and “Company” a listen below and share your thoughts in the comments.
