Bleachers
The Salt Shed // Chicago, IL // June 7, 2026

Jack Antanoff and co. kick off their North American tour at The Salt Shed in Chicago.

Bleachers‘ weekend in Chicago was only supposed to be one night, but fans wouldn’t stand for it. In fact, the opening night for their tour sold out so quickly, the band had to add a second show before heading on to Toronto a few days later. Bleachers’ newest album, Everyone for Ten Minutes, came out a few weeks before their Chicago shows, and fans already knew every single word. Their second Chicago show on Sunday, June 7th, was threatened by impending storms, but the skies parted and fans were able to enjoy the show while staying (mostly) dry.

Bleachers opened their Sunday setlist with “Sideways”, the opening track from Everyone for Ten Minutes. Jack Antonoff came onstage and stayed far back and on top of the multi-level platforms. Immediately, it was clear to see that Antonoff feels completely in control of the show when he’s onstage. Anyone who has seen a Bleachers set before knows the energy he exudes throughout his show. His performance felt especially joyful and vibrant on Sunday, a preview of what’s to come for future tour dates across North America. During their third song, “Modern Girl”, Antonoff had a permanent smile on his face as he belted out the Springsteeen-inspired pop song.

Bleachers played an impressive 23-song setlist at the Salt Shed, including their debut single “I Wanna Get Better”, which has since become one of their biggest hits. During their show, Antonoff called out Ticketmaster for creating a harmful monopoly in the live music industry. It’s no surprise that his hatred of Ticketmaster received massive applause; the increase in ticket pricing and unnecessary fees has driven a wedge between fans and their ability to see their favorite artists. When seeing Bleachers live, it’s clear that Antonoff and his band aren’t just touring for work; they’re doing it because they love it. There are few bands who put on such high energy shows every single night for fans, whether it’s opening night or the the final show.

Bleachers are on tour now throughout North America. You can find more info HERE.
