Josh Christina is set to release his latest single, “UFOs Over Phoenix,” which captures the mystery of love and the allure of the unexplained.

Created over the course of five years, “UFOs Over Phoenix” showcases Christina’s resilience and artistry. The album’s production was delayed due to the pandemic and the loss of his grandparents to COVID-19. Emerging from this period of grief, Christina presents an album filled with raw emotion and live-recorded authenticity, inviting listeners into his world of sonic exploration.

The inspiration for “UFOs Over Phoenix” comes from the infamous Phoenix Lights phenomenon and explores the themes of trust, suspicion, and the elusive nature of human connections, blending contemporary intrigue with rock ‘n’ roll’s essence.

The album was recorded at Stages Music and Arts in Cockeysville, MD, and refined by Nashville legend Kent Wells. Christina leads on piano, backed by her talented bandmates, including Teddy Grant on drums, Matt Kelley on guitar, Sean Beale-Rosano on bass, and Ashley Conway on background vocals. The live recording approach captures the raw energy and spontaneity of their performance.

Christina’s music combines classic rock, rhythm, and blues with a modern touch. A celebrated pianist, Daryl Davis hails her as a representation of rock ‘n’ roll’s roots, infusing its groundbreaking spirit into the 21st century.

“UFOs Over Phoenix” encourages you to delve into the inexplicable and participate in a rock ‘n’ roll revival, rejuvenating the genre that has permanently altered music.
