If you’re anything like me, you have about 15 different songs, movie scores, or jingles running through your head at any given moment. Thankfully for me, most of the music I get stuck in my head is of the pleasant variety. Recently there’s been a new track in my head that’s superseded all others. Austin’s Swimming With Bears released the amazingly fun and infectious “French Girls” in February, and I still can’t get it out of my head. Now the band has released a lovingly cinematic music video to go along with the song (first premiered on Paper Mag).

The “French Girls” video looks like it could be playing on big screens all over the world. As the band plays in a warehouse, lead singer Joe Perry goes on a whirlwind of dates and experiences with the titular French girls. The smart cuts, visual effects, and editing in the video give it a classic cinema feel, and Perry is as charismatic of a frontman and movie star as you could ever ask. There are a lot of adjectives that can be used to describe the “French Girls” video, but one that keeps popping into my head is “fun.”

Get ready to watch nothing else for the next 20 minutes, than watch the video for Swimming With Bears’ “French Girls” up above. With a sound this delightful, we’re hoping we hear a lot more from Swimming With Bears in the near future.
