File this one under “news posts where Joel gets a little too sappy.” I’ve had the pleasure of watching Hot Mulligan as they’ve grown from the literal infants that emailed me asking to write about their Fenton EP into the band that’s getting ready to tour the country alongside Knuckle Puck and Free Throw. I’ve been with them through so much of their growth; designing their first logo, album art, tour flyers, and merch designs all to help make sure this band that held so much potential would be able to prove themselves to the world. Last year, the band announced a signing with No Sleep Records– something that still feels like a fever dream to myself and the band, I’m sure.

It’s been a wild ride watching this band grow and I couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve managed to accomplish in a few short years. Today, the band announced their debut album– an eleven song effort called Pilot that’s packed with the promise of monumental albums like Take This To Your Grave or A Lesson In RomanticsPilot makes everything else this band has released look like child’s play and I can’t wait until the rest of the world gets to hear it. Hot Mulligan forever, baby.

The band released an incredible new song called “All You Wanted by Michelle Branch” via AltPress. You can stream that song below.
