Earlier this fall, we introduced you to Dermot Kennedy with his passionate, yet heartbreaking single “Moments Passed.” If you’ve found yourself lost in the emotions of songs like “All My Friends” or “Glory”, you’re not alone, as the Dublin, Ireland native has become a favorite among the Substream writers, with many of us listening to his music on repeat. He’s signed to Interscope Records, and with 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, seems poised for a breakout year in 2018.
While good music can move you in any circumstance, there’s something extraordinarily powerful about seeing songs performed live. There’s no surprise, then, that Dermot Kennedy’s first North American tour this past summer was sold-out, but if you weren’t able to catch him live this summer you’re in luck, as he’s recently announced another North American tour to take place in 2018. The tour will begin on March 1 in New York, wrapping up a few weeks later on March 29 in Vancouver, BC.
