Today, multi-Grammy Award-winning band Train have shared their newest single, “Long Yellow Dress.”
It is their first piece of new music since 2023’s single “I Know,” which featured Bryce Vine and Tenille Towns.
Of the new track, Train frontman Pat Monahan shares: “Have you ever had a dream more real than reality? Me too. There she was in a long yellow dress. Do I know her? It’s obvious that I’m supposed to find her so I can’t stop looking. She’s out there somewhere.”

The breezy, California-cool rock song arrives just ahead of their headlining EU/UK I Know, It’s Been A Long Time Coming Tour, which marks the long-awaited return of Train to the UK for the first time in 7 years. The tour kicks off this Friday, April 26 in Manchester, UK and includes stops in cities across the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, before concluding on May 5 in Sønderborg, Denmark.
The trek also includes the first-ever performance by Train at London’s world-famous Royal Albert Hall on April 30. To celebrate the iconic show, the band today announced a new album, Live at Royal Albert Hall, is set for release this summer. Live at Royal Albert Hall will feature Train’s milestone performance from the legendary venue, including one of their first live performances of new single “Long Yellow Dress.
North American fans can catch Train on the road this summer with REO Speedwagon on their epic co-headlining Summer Road Trip 2024 Tour, which kicks off July 8 in Somerset, WI at Somerset Amphitheater, making stops in Chicago, Toronto, New York, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up on September 11 in Phoenix, AZ at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre.
