An emo classic? You’ve got it. Ohio’s The Story Changes, which consists of Hawthorne Heights’ Mark McMillon and Christopher Popadak and The Stereo’s Chris Serafini, is debuting their newest single, “Shooting Stars.” The cut is taken from the band’s forthcoming album, To Hell With this Delicate Equation, set to arrive on April 26th via Magnaphone Records.

On the new track, the band says, “Nothing is permanent, are we no exception? ‘Shooting Stars’ is about looking back at your life and hoping to take the feeling of who you are and everything you loved with you when you fade away. I think the imagery and symbolism of walking along the ocean and eventually out into the water is a cool metaphor for our last moments.”

“Shooting Stars” is track no two on To Hell With this Delicate Equation. Preorder the album here. The band will be hitting the road this spring starting with shows in Des Moines, Iowa and Bloomington, Illinois, a listening party on April 26th in Dayton, OH, a show in Columbus, and another on May 11th in Dayton at Yellow Cab for a release show.
