This is definitely a high-tech Spider-Man, with most of that credit coming from the fact that Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark seems to play a large role in the film, as both a father figure to Peter and as the man supplying all of his gadgets. This is also a Spider-Man that’s still very much a kid figuring out how to balance being a superhero and a normal high school teenager, and that shows, often to hilarious effect. We also get a limited look at Zendaya as Michelle, a classmate of Peter’s. The trailer overall is pretty light, but Michael Keaton’s Vulture is more menacing than one might expect from a dude named “The Vulture.” Check the footage out:

Jon Watts (Cop Car) is set to direct. Spider-Man: Homecoming lands in theaters July 7, 2017. Until then, join us in memorizing every single quip from the trailer.
