Niagara Falls rockers Eleven North are preparing to release a new album in 2017, and while details are currently scarce, the first big taste of the album comes in the form of a brand new music video for its lead single, “Words From The Wise.” We have the honor of introducing the clip and we believe you’d be remiss to not check it out below.

For fans of mostly mellow indie rock with tight songwriting and occasional grooves (think as wide-ranging as Local Natives, Ben Howard, From Indian Lakes, and City And Colour), Eleven North are sure to catch your attention and have you keeping an eye out for their new release next year.

“‘Words From The Wise’ was written from the prospective of my grandfather passing his wisdom onto me about life, choices, loving those around you, and not being self-centred,” explains vocalist/guitarist Andrew Reinhardt. “And at the same time my own perspective of listening to those words and passing them on to those around me and the ones I love. It’s a message for everyone to remember that choices have consequences and ‘this life is not all about you’ so live a life with choices steeped in love.”

In addition to the insight from Reinhardt, the video’s director, Sean Allman, had this to say:

“’Words From The Wise’ had a depth of meaning that I could really delve into creatively and I was very excited. I wrote the script to feel like a dream and let the song’s lyrics carry you through its meanings. The band was really great to work with—incredibly talented musicians—and the kind of guys that you sensed believe in you and trusted you to do your best for them. They are consummate professionals who truly enjoy what they’re doing. We were working but we were having fun, too. Special thanks to my wonderful crew, my co-producer, Crystal Black, our awesome actors, Krista, and Skyler. Thanks, guys… I hope everyone enjoys the music video as much as I did making it!”
